2024届毕业生 毕业典礼

Dear Seniors and Guests of the 2024届毕业生:

I look forward to welcoming you and your families, on behalf of the Skidmore College community, to the College’s 113th 毕业典礼 Exercises on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. We hope that when you read the schedule of activities for 毕业典礼 Weekend, you will be as full of anticipation as we are. My wife Barbara Reyes-康纳 and I especially look forward to your joining us for a reception Friday afternoon at historic Scribner House, our residence and the former home of Lucy Skidmore Scribner. (I might add, this will be the end of my fourth year at Skidmore as well, so I will be celebrating my own “senior year” 和你们一起, the great 2024届毕业生.)

Skidmore College will bestow honorary degrees upon esteemed community activists, philanthropists, and exemplars of civic engagement 路易斯一个. 米兰达小. and Luz Towns-Miranda. Murat C. Yildiz, assistant professor of history, has been selected as the 2024 faculty 演讲者. Each of our distinguished guests will briefly address the graduating class. Board of Trustees Chair Jon P. Achenbaum ’77, 2024届毕业生 总统 Vicky Grijalva, and I will also offer our congratulations and remarks. 

We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with the 2024届毕业生, their families, and all our guests in May. Following 毕业典礼 Exercises, the celebrations 将继续! Please join graduates, families, friends, faculty, and staff for a reception on the grounds of SPAC to acknowledge and applaud the wonderful accomplishments of Skidmore College's 2024届毕业生. I greatly look forward to this wonderful celebration 和你们一起.
