校友 纪念奖学金

We never forget the special people who have touched our hearts and made a difference 在我们的生活中.

To help celebrate the special connections between Skidmore alumni, 火博体育大学, in partnership with Harold Herz ’89 and Anne Margiloff Wargo ’89, is pleased to announce a new collective 校友 纪念奖学金 to honor the legacy of alumni who have gone before us, while providing today’s students with financial aid, which is a pressing 优先级.

By making a gift to Skidmore in memory of a friend or classmate who has passed away, you pay tribute to their spirit with a lasting impact and help to support a Skidmore 今天的学生.

The 校友 纪念奖学金 creates a permanent legacy at 火博体育大学 for alumni who are no longer with us and provides important current financial support for students who need it most.

"Respecting the past by honoring the future has always been an important credo in 我们的家庭. One of the strongest ways we can honor their memory is by creating opportunities for Skidmore students. I am proud to be a part of this effort and hope to create a meaningful legacy for Skidmore.”

“In the spring of 2014, we lost my dear friend Jennifer Landers ’90 to cancer. 因为 she cared deeply about Skidmore, her family and a core group of her friends including me endowed a fund at Skidmore to honor her memory and support current students in 永久.  With this in mind, and Jennifer’s fund as a model, I’m so pleased to have been able to work with the College on the creation and funding of this 校友 纪念奖学金.  Now all alumni will have an opportunity to honor lost friends and classmates by helping to make a Skidmore education possible for current students who might not otherwise be able to take advantage of the opportunity.  我希望 you will consider joining me in this effort.”
